How to Dropship from AliExpress to Saudi Arabia (2026 Guide)

Product Scout team · 2026-10-05

Dropshipping means you sell a product in your own online store, and when a customer orders, the supplier ships it straight to them. You never hold stock. AliExpress is the most popular source for this, and it can work well for customers in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf — if you pick the right products and the right sellers.

1. Pick products that sell, not products you like

Start from demand. Look at what is already selling well: AliExpress best sellers in your category, what is trending on Amazon.sa and Noon, and how many orders a product has collected recently. A product with thousands of orders and steady new sales is a safer test than a “cool” product with none.

Our Trending page shows the AliExpress best sellers in 14 categories, updated every day, with new sales since the last update.

2. Prefer Choice and fast delivery

Long delivery is the number-one reason dropshipping customers ask for refunds. On AliExpress, Choice products are shipped by AliExpress itself, usually with faster delivery, free shipping above a minimum order and easier returns. Products shipped from a local or regional warehouse arrive even faster.

In Product Scout every AliExpress supplier gets a Dropship score (0–100) based on Choice, delivery time, local warehouse, rating and proven sales, so you can sort by the best ones.

3. Check the supplier before you sell

Read our supplier checklist for the full list.

4. Price for profit

Your price must cover the product, shipping, payment and platform fees, ads and returns. A simple rule many sellers use is to sell at 2.5–3× the landed cost for low-priced items. Use the profit calculator to check your margin before you list.

5. Order a sample

Always order one piece to yourself first. Check quality, packaging and the real delivery time to your city.

6. Registrations in Saudi Arabia

If you sell online in Saudi Arabia, check the current e-commerce rules: business registration (for example through the Saudi Business Center), and VAT — registration with ZATCA is mandatory once your yearly taxable sales pass SAR 375,000. Rules change, so confirm on the official websites before you start.

7. Connect your store

Tools like DSers connect AliExpress to Shopify or WooCommerce and place the orders for you. In Product Scout you can save suppliers, tick the buying checklist, then export them as a Shopify CSV or copy the AliExpress links for DSers.

This guide is general information, not legal or tax advice. Policies on AliExpress and in Saudi Arabia change — always confirm on the official websites.
